About NHI Billing Services

Founded in 1996, NHI has maintained focus on one-line of business out-of-state (OOS) Medicaid account management. It is through specialization and focus that NHI remains an industry leader handling this unique group of accounts for hospitals throughout the country.

Today, NHI serves a wide variety of hospital clients throughout the United States. Our clients place more than $110 million in OOS Medicaid claims (fee for service and managed care) annually. Commitment to a customer service and satisfaction remain the foundation for our company since its inception. This commitment has led our first 25 client hospitals that started with NHI in 1996 to remain with NHI today.

We offer a full-service OOS Medicaid account management program including eligibility verification, authorization notification, provider enrollment, billing, account follow-up, extensive reporting and appeals processing.
